Poseidon Group International, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles in 1994 by the name of Poseidon Seafood Corporation with a mission to spread high quality Japanese food throughout the United States. Poseidon Group first started with importing, exporting and wholesale distribution of fresh tuna, mainly between the United States and Japan. Since then, our business has not only expanded to a wide variety of seafood but also diversified into beef products which our  Wagyu beef raised in Japan. In addition to that, our operations have expanded from just the United States and Japan to a global operation.

Since our inception we have been highly committed to the process and delivery of high-quality Japanese food while nurturing relationships with our clientele. With our motto, "Safety of Food, Joy of Eating" and with our global network, Poseidon Group continues to pioneer and innovate with our methods of high-quality Japanese foods and associated products. Our commitment to product safety and quality is upheld through quality management of our entire operational chain spanning from purchasing, to processing, all the way until distribution and sales.

Our primary processing plant is in Japan and is certified by both US HACCP and EU HACCP standards. To compliment this, we maintain an additional processing facility in Los Angeles where our fresh tuna and beef is cut to the needs of our American customers and are certified by the FDA and USDA.

When it comes to our storage, our facilities are equipped with ultra-low temperature (-40°F/-40°C) storage alongside our refrigerated and cold storage warehouses to ensure we maintain our high standards for quality. Our well-equipped infrastructure highlights our commitment to delivering the most delicious and secure food products to our clients and allows us to take advantage of our competitive advantage of being able to manage all aspects of our logistics.
